Now is a great time to take on a project issued by the company that you could not work on before. Even if you do not have the skills necessary for the project, you can take your time to develop the skills for that specific project to be completed.
Be sure to ask your boss for help if you need any assistance to kick start the project. Your managers and higher ups will notice your initiative and it would also put you in a good light.
Help your Teammates / Colleagues
If you find that you have a lot of time in your hands, ask your team mates if you could help them with any of the tasks that they are overwhelmed with. They would be grateful for lending a hand and would help build meaningful relationship. On that note, they would gladly help you out when you are struggling to get your works sorted when you need it the most. It’s a win-win situation!

It is said that “First Impressions are long lasting” and your resume is just that as it advertises yourself to your potential employer. Brush up your resume to showcase your skills, accomplishments, expertise and recent experiences as the resume works as a tool to sell yourself to your potential employer.

Finally, take this time to enjoy yourself. Life is all about balance. Learn how to cook, take that guitar lessons that you always wanted to. Do something for yourself or your family. After all, once you get super busy with work, all those things would once again be on the back burner.
