Agile Consultants is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer for our client in the TIC industry based in Dubai.

Job Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

– Prospect for potential new clients and turn these into increased business.

– Provides quality and technically based opinion on product standards, classification and certification.

– Strong knowledge of product certification principles ISO/IEC 17065.

– Demonstrate deep understanding of regulatory requirements as per SASO guidelines.

– Closely working with the sales team and technical managers to develop business strategies.

– Provides applicable classification, product standards and requirements in line with the documents based on business rules, using in-house and other related references.

– Assists in the resolution of standards, classification and certification cases and other requests and/or inquiries with technical expertise on specific goods or commodity.

– Responsible to attend other operational concerns regarding certificate issuance which needs technical opinion.

– Interact and coordinate with other members involved in the attainment of the team’s objective.

– Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging existing and new networks.

– Research and build relationships with new clients.

– Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.

– Plan approaches and pitches.

– Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

– Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

Research and Coordination:

– Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.

– Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.

– Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

– Work with other staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

– Engineer or equivalent.

– A thorough knowledge of the Verification of Conformity – Saudi (SASO) Contract for market development (with focus on SABER, SFDA, GMARK IECEE, QM, Energy Efficiency in general), the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.

– Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories.

– Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.

– Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.

– Demonstrated and proven sales results.

– Fluent communication in person, on the phone, and in email.

Abide by all non-compete/solicit agreements.

1 – 2 years of industry experience is mandatory.

U.A.E Driving License required.
