As an Accounts Payable Officer in our Fragrance & Cosmetics Trading division based in Dubai, you will be responsible for managing the payables function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors.Job Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and ensure accuracy in coding, approvals, and payment terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in the accounts payable process.
- Coordinate with vendors to address payment-related queries and maintain positive relationships.
- Verify and process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports for management review.
- Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for payments.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
- Contribute to process improvements in the accounts payable function.

- Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience with a focus on accounts payables.
- Proficient in using accounting software, preferably Tally.
- Dynamic and presentable with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices.
- Effective communication skills for vendor interactions and internal coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with trading or retail industry payables processes is advantageous.
