Job Purpose:
Will be responsible for the efficient management and continuous improvement of the University’s undergraduate/graduate/postgraduates’ admissions process, with a particular focus on achieving a positive applicant experience. Also, development of strategy for all aspects of undergraduate student admissions, working with faculty and departmental staff to ensure quality and develop fair and consistent policies and processes.
The Head of Sales oversees all aspects of admissions, students’ recruitment, marketing, digital marketing and will direct the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment. The Head of Sales will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short term and long-term recruitment strategies to ensure the University meets enrollment objectives.
The ideal candidate will be a data driven decision maker, an experienced admission/marketing professional and a creative leader in admission, recruitment and retention. The Head of Sales & Marketing will develop and lead inclusive outreach efforts to draw diverse families to the school and ensure that the University continues to enroll promising students.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage admissions /marketing staff including providing clear communication regarding responsibilities, practices, feedback and ensure proper entries into CRM for both National & International team.
  • Hands on experience in CRM and should be able to handle National & International team.
  • Represent the university and serve as the face of the University to the school and with prospective families while communicating the mission.
  • Engage and inform prospective parents and students about the university and the benefits of a university education on an individual, small, and large group basis.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with area educational constituencies including area schools, preschools, consultants, admissions directors and organizations and create networking opportunities.
  • Lead and develop a communications plan with prospective schools/families to move them from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Oversee and participate in the development of admissions materials, events, and marketing practices.
  • Knowledge of Digital Campaign & should be able to execute digital campaign.
  • Coordinate systematic and efficient handling of applications and communications with parents of student applicants so that the process supports and honors the student and their family.
  • Manage parent and student expectations and deliver admissions decisions in a manner that is honest, caring, and diplomatic.
  • Manage admissions/marketing staff including providing clear communication regarding responsibilities, practices, and feedback.
  • Manage the admissions budget and able to plan & forecast marketing plan and presentation.
  • Will be responsible for student intake.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Master’s & minimum 8-10 years of UAE Experience in Higher Education sector is must.
  • Experience and demonstrable success in a marketing manager level role, (preferably in a complex organization).
  • Experience in using CRM and high level of computer skills.
  • Experience of creating departmental marketing strategies and operational plans to support specific business objectives and targets.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing programme that achieves results.
  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with a wide range of individuals within organization; Polished presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and diplomacy when dealing with senior and other colleagues.
  • Diplomatic approach to all stakeholders: internal and external, persuasive and resilient.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing concepts, strategy, and best practice.
  • Communicate effectively and at all levels, be it at board level, with colleagues or vendors etc.
  • Be able to source and manage vendors(stakeholders), develop, and maintain good working relationships to deliver requirements in accordance with budgetary thresholds to achieve value for money.
  • Have a high level of personal responsibility and be able to establish and initiate own work and set own objectives and milestones. Be capable of advising and offering objectives for others.
  • Must be flexible to meet the changing requirements of the University. The duties and location of this post and the role of the post-holder may be changed after consultation. The balance of duties may vary over time and will be reviewed as part of the appraisal process.
