Job Summary:
This role is responsible for collaborating with clients to strategize, create, and manage social content that’s desirable, usable, sharable, and discoverable. Part of a creative, idea-focused team that aspires to create work that impacts human behavior and helps our brands deliver on a purpose that’s larger than just “sell more products.” You identify, manage, and structure engaging and contextually appropriate social platforms/content for medium to large projects and multiple projects across multiple client teams. You are also responsible for keeping your finger on the pulse of how content performs, recommending enhancements and course corrections as a project lives and breathes in a digital environment, so that content remains valuable to users and continues to pay off on client objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Create social/content strategies to define the what, how much, when, where, why, and how for content across multiple platforms for clients.
  • Stay on the pulse of innovations on various platforms and best-in-class content and share with internal teams and clients.
  • Brainstorm with integrated teams to guide and shape social concepts.
  • Assess existing client social to identify strengths, weaknesses, gaps, and inconsistencies, as well as opportunities.
  • Educate clients/internal agency teams about why social/content strategy matters to our work and our clients.
  • Review monthly social/content campaigns and give feedback from a strategic perspective.
  • Partner with optimization and community management for campaigns.
  • Design social content that is structured and optimized for effective search, publication, and distribution.

Job Requirements:
5+ years of experience in the following areas:
  • Managing processes governing the development, publication, and distribution of social content.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience as primary Social Strategist on medium and large accounts preferably banking/financial clients.
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability.
  • Graduate degree (preferred) in English, Journalism, Media Studies, Library Sciences, or related.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate creative thinking.
  • Ability to work within a team, handle multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends through trade journals, and industry workshops/seminars and track current events.
  • Exhibit passion for social media and emerging platforms.
  • Demonstrate genuine curiosity and interest in our clients & their business.
  • Digitally savvy, with specific proficiency in MS Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
