Job Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in drafting and executing business operating plans.
  • Assist the Manager in managing the process of establishing routes to market and help in identifying suitable and competent customer distributor/agent networks.
  • Follow up the process of individual customer product qualification (full cycle) till products are approved by the customer.
  • Collaborates with the Sales Manager in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals and plans.
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales prices in line with the set guidelines.
  • Maximizes revenues by achieving the highest possible netbacks.
  • Provide quarterly stewardship to monitor the success or shortcomings of the business plans.
  • Review expenses and customer receivables and make recommendations to optimize economics.
  • Continuously review the department’s financial data to determine and report on shortcomings.
  • Make bi-monthly reports on the status of the business to HQ.
  • Recommends new product developments to meet customers’ needs.
  • Liaise with the technical team to understand product and grade performance.

Job Requirements:
  • University degree (Accounting, Finance); Masters is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good English is a must, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
