Job Brief:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and handling project accounting activities. The role requires strong expertise in accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE accounting standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including bookkeeping, project accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and intercompany accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor project costs and budgets, providing accurate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Process monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Support management with financial analysis, forecasts, and audits.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders when required.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certification is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in Dubai, preferably in the trading industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, and project accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
