Job Brief:We are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support the financial operations of a real estate portfolio, including property management and holiday homes operations. The role requires hands-on financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, internal control oversight, and team supervision. The ideal candidate must have strong experience within the UAE real estate sector and a solid understanding of related financial regulations and processes.
Job Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Accounting- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Manage and reconcile inter-company transactions.
Budgeting & Forecasting- Lead preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, providing corrective recommendations.
- Assist management in long-term financial planning and strategic decision-making.
Internal Controls & Compliance- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce risks.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate governance standards, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and support annual audit processes.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management- Monitor and manage daily cash flow to optimize working capital.
- Approve payments and oversee treasury and banking activities in alignment with company policies.
- Ensure effective liquidity and fund management practices.
Team Leadership & Development- Supervise and mentor finance staff, providing training and performance guidance.
- Ensure proper delegation of tasks and maintain succession readiness within the finance team.
Financial Analysis & Decision Support- Analyze the financial performance of property management and holiday homes operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for investment and operational decisions.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses for major capital expenditures and improvement projects.
