Job Brief:Our client, operating in the
HVAC and MEP contracting industry, is seeking an experienced
Assistant Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and support strategic financial management within the organization. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, handling financial reporting and compliance, overseeing receivables and payables, and maintaining strong banking and client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE finance experience and strong leadership capabilities to support financial planning, contract review, and business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work closely with management to ensure financial efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure timely collections and payments while maintaining healthy cash flow.
- Prepare annual financial reports and ensure all financial documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required timelines.
- File FTA returns on time and ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including overseeing credit facilities, banking operations, and funding requirements.
- Review and negotiate contracts to ensure financial viability, minimize risk, and support profitable business growth.
- Monitor financial performance and assist management in maintaining efficient financial operations within the organization.
- Maintain proper financial records and documentation to support audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and management to support financial planning and operational decision-making.
