Job Brief:

Our client is seeking a Service Engineer – Building Management System (BMS) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and servicing of Building Management Systems (BMS), Lighting Control Systems (LCS), and Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS). The successful candidate will ensure the reliable operation of building automation systems while responding promptly to customer service requests and maintaining compliance with service agreements and applicable industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BMS, LCS, and GRMS systems, along with strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to support the maintenance of integrated building automation and life safety systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform periodic preventive and corrective maintenance on BMS, LCS, GRMS, and other customer installations to ensure reliable system performance.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve faults in Building Management Systems and associated building automation equipment.
Perform testing, commissioning, and functional verification of BMS, LCS, and GRMS installations.
Monitor graphic stations for alarms, error messages, and system alerts to ensure uninterrupted system operation.
Respond promptly to customer service requests and ensure compliance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Maintain accurate project records, maintenance reports, and equipment performance logs.
Report recurring technical issues to Team Leads and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Log faults, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions to minimize recurring system issues.
Monitor the performance of existing systems and recommend upgrades or system enhancements where appropriate.
Coordinate material requirements to support maintenance and service activities.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, local regulations, industry standards, and HSE requirements.
Support the maintenance of Life Safety, Security, BMS, AV, ICT, ELV, and HVAC systems as required.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Building Management System (BMS) service and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), Lighting Control Systems (LCS), and Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS).
Experience performing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BMS installations.
Excellent knowledge of Life Safety, Security, BMS, AV, ICT, and Fire Fighting systems.
Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
Ability to work under pressure with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
