Job Brief:

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive (MEP) to support business growth across Civil, Structural Steel, MEP, and Fire Protection sectors in Saudi Arabia. The role involves identifying new project opportunities, developing client relationships, tracking tenders, supporting prequalification activities, and contributing to the successful acquisition of new business.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the construction or contracting industry, strong networking skills, and the ability to build relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and key stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities within Civil, Structural Steel, MEP, and Fire Protection sectors.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, projects, consultants, contractors, and developers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Arrange meetings, presentations, and site visits with potential customers.
  • Support the Business Development Manager in preparing business development plans and sales strategies.
  • Attend industry exhibitions, networking events, and business forums to promote company services.
  • Maintain an updated database of clients, project opportunities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Track upcoming tenders and project opportunities from various sources.
  • Assist with prequalification submissions and tender documentation.
  • Follow up with clients regarding submitted quotations, proposals, and tenders.
  • Prepare presentations, capability statements, company profiles, and marketing materials.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends and provide regular updates to management.
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions under the guidance of senior management.
  • Coordinate with project execution teams to ensure a smooth project handover after project award.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or tendering within the Construction, MEP, Steel Fabrication, Fire Protection, or Contracting industry.
  • Strong understanding of Civil, MEP, Structural Steel, and Fire Protection contracting businesses.
  • Experience in identifying project opportunities and developing client relationships.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes, prequalification submissions, and project-based sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent networking and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while achieving business development targets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of the Saudi Arabian construction and contracting market will be an advantage.
