Job Brief:Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager specializing in filtration and separation solutions for the Food Services industry in the UAE. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong sales skills to develop new business opportunities, maintain client relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities: - Identify and develop new business opportunities for filtration and separation solutions across the Food Service industry.
- Maintain and expand the existing customer base. The target customer list will be discussed and agreed upon with management on a regular basis.
- Conduct technical and commercial presentations to customers, explaining product features and application benefits.
- Visit customer facilities and implement practical applications of products and services through a thorough understanding of the customer’s processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers; work with existing customers to identify new applications for existing products.
- Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales to achieve assigned targets.
- Coordinate with the technical and service teams to ensure timely project execution and product installations to customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the technical and service teams to address customer complaints and issues with supplied products.
- Provide market feedback and competitor insights to management for strategic planning.
- Conduct sales campaigns, field trials, and ensure customer business reviews.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM and reporting mechanisms.
Reporting Mechanism:Daily Reports: Inform/update Regional Manager on planned customer visits and activities.
Weekly Report: Weekly activity report and following week’s plan to be submitted to the Management Team every Friday.
Monthly/Quarterly Reports: Prepare and submit:
- Monthly LDA Report
- Monthly/Quarterly Sales Forecast Report
- Provide sales updates/plans as required.
- Support the Logistics team with consolidated projections for upcoming quarters to ensure stock availability.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Bankable: Always achieve sales targets.
- Self-Driven: Complete tasks independently and proactively.
- Initiative: Take ownership of tasks and make effective decisions.
- Coordination: Ensure smooth liaison between stakeholders through efficient communication, follow-ups, and timely closures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain timely, accurate, and updated reports.
- Value Addition: Contribute as a key team member to service delivery and internal/external customer satisfaction.
- Submission & Multi-Tasking: Complete tasks assigned by line managers or management within deadlines.
