Job Brief:
Experience in freight forwarding or food/perishable logistics is a MUST.
A European multinational logistics company is seeking two dynamic Business Development Managers to join their UAE team - at least one of which is in Dubai. The successful candidates will be accountable for outdoor visits, volume & revenue growth, and monthly gross profit in addition to developing one or two strategic partnerships for end-to-end logistics including “Cold storage”.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring in new LOGOS to which we quote, on a weekly basis by identifying business opportunities in Airfreight/ Sea freight / Trucking/ Customs clearance and warehousing/ cold storage.
• Hit clear Revenue & GP targets (3-4x their salary) within 3 months.
• Bring onboard already established relationships with clients & partners/ carriers alike.
• Ability to identify opportunities in the supply chain industry, particularly in the food perishables and cold storage sectors.
• Prepare weekly visit reports to the country director.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of the logistics industry. Anyone without perishable/ logistics experience will not be considered.
• Target-oriented: Currently delivering his/her GP targets with his current employer and looking for growth.
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable college.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in sales or business development within the logistics industry.
• Industry experience in the food perishables or cold storage arena is preferred.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements in the Middle East.
• Ability to work independently.
