Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (ICAI-qualified) to manage the financial, administrative, and compliance functions of a trading business based in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong UAE experience—particularly with DMCC compliance, company administration, shipment coordination, and customer/vendor liaison. This role requires a self-sufficient professional who can handle both financial and non-financial tasks while demonstrating commitment and long-term stability.

Job Responsibilities:
Financial & Compliance Management:
  • Oversee all accounting activities in line with UAE regulations and IFRS standards.
  • Manage DMCC-related compliance, including reporting, renewals, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely completion of VAT filings, corporate tax compliance, and other statutory submissions.
Administrative & Liaison Responsibilities:
  • Manage visa processes, licensing renewals, and other administrative tasks, particularly within DMCC and other free zones.
  • Liaise effectively with customers and suppliers for smooth business operations.
  • Handle coordination with customs clearing agents for shipment schedules and documentation.
Operational & Support Activities:
  • Provide support on ad hoc non-financial tasks, including real estate-related work in both the UAE and the UK.
  • Assist in general business administration, documentation management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain effective relationships with logistics partners, government authorities, and internal/external teams.
General:
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accuracy, and a commitment to long-term engagement.
Job Requirements:
  • ICAI-qualified Chartered Accountant — mandatory.
  • 8–10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of residency in the UAE — required.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE compliance, VAT, DMCC regulations, and free zone procedures.
  • Experience handling visa processing, license renewals, and administrative matters.
  • Ability to liaise with customers, suppliers, and clearing agents.
  • Experience supporting ad hoc real estate tasks (UAE & UK).
  • Strong understanding of shipment documentation and coordination with customs agents.
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and willing to commit to a long-term role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
