Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee the execution of building construction projects in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local authority regulations, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and delivering projects within the approved timeline, budget, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing G+4, G+12, and G+Unlimited building projects and hold the relevant Dubai Municipality engineering licence or certification. Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities for building construction projects.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance with design requirements.
Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and productivity to ensure work is completed according to approved schedules.
Ensure all civil works comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, project specifications, and applicable engineering standards.
Coordinate inspections with consultants and relevant authorities and ensure timely closure of inspection comments.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to quality, HSE, and contractual requirements.
Review material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and provide project updates to management.
Identify technical issues on site and implement effective engineering solutions.
Ensure proper resource planning, material utilization, and cost control throughout project execution.
Participate in project handover activities and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in building construction projects.
A valid Dubai Municipality G+4, G+12, or G+Unlimited engineering licence or certification is mandatory.
Proven experience managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use building construction projects in Dubai.
Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, construction standards, and approval procedures.
Ability to review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documentation.
Strong project coordination, site management, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under project deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD and project management software will be an advantage.
