Job Brief:The Client Accounting Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health, compliance, and overall satisfaction of assigned clients. This role involves managing tax and accounting requirements, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax returns, advising clients on tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The position contributes directly to delivering high-quality financial services and supporting clients in optimizing their financial well-being.
Job Responsibilities:Client Interaction and Account Management:- Interact proactively with clients to address inquiries, concerns, and service-related issues.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant records of client accounts at all times.
Compliance and Regulatory Expertise:- Stay updated with current tax laws and regulations and provide clients with accurate guidance.
- Assist clients in understanding and meeting tax and compliance requirements to minimize penalties and risks.
Bookkeeping and Financial Management:- Manage bookkeeping activities, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Oversee petty cash maintenance and coordinate with banks for daily deposits.
Taxation Expertise:- Calculate taxes owed in accordance with applicable tax codes and regulations.
- Prepare a wide range of tax returns, from simple to complex, for individuals and small businesses.
- Assist clients in leveraging federal, state, and local tax codes to maximize eligible benefits.
- Identify potential deductions and tax credits and advise clients on minimizing tax liabilities.
- Oversee registration requirements and threshold monitoring for VAT and Corporate Tax (CT).
Financial Analysis and Record Review:- Review and analyze financial records, including income statements and expense documentation.
- Conduct detailed discussions with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their financial position.
Accuracy and Compliance Assurance:- Verify the accuracy of historical tax returns and ensure records are reconciled at all times.
- Refer to tax law handbooks for complex tax cases to ensure compliance.
- Advise clients on applicable regulations related to VAT, Corporate Tax, AML, ESR, and UBO.
Client Relationship Management:- Address and resolve client complaints professionally and within agreed timelines.
- Recommend additional financial products and services aligned with client needs.
Electronic Tax Filing:- Use electronic tax filing software to accurately prepare and submit tax returns.
- Ensure clients receive copies of completed tax returns for their records.
Tracker Management, Reporting, and Updating:- Regularly update financial trackers and databases with the latest information.
- Ensure tracking systems are accurate, well-organized, and easily accessible.
- Prepare weekly and monthly summary reports for management review.
