Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Civil to plan, direct, and oversee all construction activities from project inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.

Job Responsibilities:

Actively follow and promote the Company Safety, Security, and Quality policies and ensure that fellow employees and visitors are doing the same. These policies are to be followed at all times within the Company environment to ensure a safe and secure workplace for all.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all construction projects under the company’s portfolio.
Review project designs, specifications, and contractual documents to determine project requirements.
Develop and implement construction strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
Oversee site mobilization, equipment allocation, and manpower deployment.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to monitor progress and address issues.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure performance meets project requirements.
Ensure adherence to project budgets, monitor cost control, and approve variations where justified.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, safety compliance, and progress.
Resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to maintain positive relationships and resolve concerns.
Implement project risk management measures to minimize delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
Prepare and present regular progress, cost, and performance reports to senior management.
Mentor and develop site teams to build technical and managerial capability.
Ensure timely handover of completed projects in compliance with specifications and contractual obligations.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 12–15 years of construction management experience.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role handling large-scale infrastructure/building projects.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Proficiency in project planning, cost control, and contract administration.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of UAE construction laws, authority requirements, and permitting processes.
Fluent in English.
Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
