Job Brief:We are seeking an experienced
E-Commerce Platform Project Manager to lead end-to-end e-commerce initiatives from our Dubai office. The role involves managing new country launches, coordinating platform enhancements, ensuring operational stability, and aligning with global standards. You will
bridge business and technical teams, oversee project delivery from planning to execution, and drive initiatives that enhance customer experience and business performance.Job Responsibilities:- Lead planning and execution of new country launches and channel expansion initiatives in line with business and regional strategies.
- Define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Liaise between regional D2C teams, development teams, and global platform teams to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Maintain high-quality project documentation and build a regional knowledge repository.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and operational processes.
- Address ad-hoc requests from the corporate office and communicate effectively with local stakeholders.
- Review regional e-commerce trends and assess their applicability to the platform.
- Ensure weekly progress reporting on deliverables, risks, issues, and resource allocation.
- Participate in technical planning, design, testing, and implementation phases.
- Support the Head of Platform in managing stakeholder expectations and implementing governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working with development teams (business analysis, developers, QA, architects).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
