Job Brief:A leading company in the FMCG sector is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Engineering Store Supervisor to manage store operations, procurement, and inventory processes for engineering parts and materials. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in using ERP and CMMS systems, excellent supplier coordination skills, and a good understanding of procurement standards, stock control, and engineering equipment requirements.
Job Responsibilities:Procurement & Purchasing:- Create and process Purchase Orders in the ERP system upon approval.
- Obtain and evaluate at least three quotations for materials that reach the reorder level.
- Source and procure spare parts, materials, and equipment locally and internationally.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, maintain supplier database, and track deliveries.
- Coordinate with logistics for international orders and with accounts for payment follow-ups.
- Enter and monitor warranty claims and ensure timely replacements.
Storekeeping & Inventory Control:- Receive, inspect, and verify materials against purchase orders.
- Maintain and organize inventory by machine type and material category.
- Generate and update Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in ERP/CMMS (CWorks).
- Monitor stock levels to ensure timely reordering and avoid shortages.
- Conduct quarterly stock audits and maintain FIFO and MSDS compliance.
- Label and store all parts systematically and ensure timely issue documentation.
System & Reporting:- Use ERP and CMMS software for inventory updates, GRNs, issuance slips, and warranty tracking.
- Submit regular purchase and inventory reports to management.
- Monitor and report on cycle counts and support monthly reporting requirements.
Quality, Safety & Compliance:- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, 5S, QMS, and Work Safety standards.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives through efficient inventory management.
- Follow pest control, EMS, and continuous improvement standards.
