The ideal candidate is a practical leader who can efficiently manage workers, foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement, and has significant experience in sheet metal fabrication. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in production operations.

Job Responsibilities:
Production Oversight & Quality Control

• Supervise cutting, punching, bending, and welding processes to ensure adherence to engineering specifications.
• Verify dimensional accuracy, bend allowances, and quality at all production stages.
• Ensure job cards are accurately prepared and implement rigorous inspection protocols.

Team Leadership & Efficiency

• Directly supervise fabrication personnel, assign tasks, and monitor workflow to eliminate idle time.
• Record daily attendance, manage shift schedules, and authorize overtime when required.
• Train new hires and upskill existing workers on fabrication techniques, safety practices, and quality standards.

Process & Workflow Management

• Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in operations.
• Ensure timely material requisitions and proper handling, storage, and identification of parts and materials.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas following 5S principles.

Safety & Equipment Management

• Enforce strict compliance with all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and audits.
• Ensure machinery is operated safely and maintained properly; report malfunctions immediately.
