Job Brief:
A well-established electrical manufacturing company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Factory Manager – Sheet Metal Fabrication Unit. The role is responsible for overseeing the complete manufacturing operations of sheet metal and aluminium enclosures used in electrical panel board production. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineering graduate with strong leadership skills and extensive hands-on experience in enclosure manufacturing, machinery operations, and production management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the sheet metal fabrication unit for electrical enclosure manufacturing.
• Plan, coordinate, and control production activities to ensure quality output, efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Supervise and guide production teams to consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Ensure effective utilization and operation of manufacturing equipment, including CNC turret punch press, laser cutting machines, CNC bending machines, and welding units.
• Oversee fabrication processes involving MIG, TIG, and Argon welding for aluminium and sheet metal.
• Review and approve fabrication drawings, layouts, and programs prepared using AutoCAD and CNC programming systems.
• Monitor and manage tooling, dies, powder coating processes, and finishing standards to meet quality requirements.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards, safety procedures, and best manufacturing practices.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and planning teams to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Identify process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce wastage, and optimize costs.
• Prepare production reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
