Job Brief:
We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Finance Controller, based in Dubai, to lead the finance function and drive the organization’s financial strategy. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth. The Finance Controller will also lead the finance team and collaborate closely with senior management across the MEA region.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in executive decision-making, contributing insights on cost optimization, profitability, and growth strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze gross margins to ensure business profitability and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee all financial activities, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to optimize financial resources.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring strong financial operations and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other executive team members to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Oversee cost center management, ensuring accurate allocation, monitoring, and control of departmental budgets.
  • Drive financial risk management initiatives, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and maximize returns.
  • Lead internal, external, and statutory audits and serve as the key custodian of compliance requirements.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
  • 10–12 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Must have significant finance experience in the UAE and KSA; exposure to other MEA countries (e.g., Egypt, Kuwait) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
