Job Brief:
A leading manufacturing company in the UAE is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Executive to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the company’s strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with proven experience in the manufacturing sector and strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and reporting processes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive, record, and accurately process invoices in line with delegated authority, including recalculating price extensions, due dates, discounts, VAT, account codes, and payment.
  • Process authorized employee reimbursement requests.
  • Ensure all VAT is accounted for correctly to maximize VAT reimbursement.
  • Work closely with the Systems Accountant to continuously develop accounting codes.
  • Offer suggestions to improve accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Monthly reconciliation of all Accounts Payable and Creditor ledgers balances (with nominal ledger control account) in line with the published monthly timetable.
  • Controls and maintains the purchase ledger systems, producing reports for the Financial Accountant to monitor accruals and prepayments effectively.
  • To maintain the integrity of all (existing and new) suppliers in line with company policies and procedures, and report discrepancies to senior management.
  • To ensure segregation of duties, always ensure minimal risk of data manipulation and errors.
  • Produce timely supplier payment runs in line with payment terms, with robust, detailed backup schedules
  • LC Documentation.
  • Support the Finance Manager in banking coordination.
  • Step in for the Accounts Receivable Clerk in their absence.
  • All ad hoc tasks and projects are designated by the Financial Accountant.
Job Requirements:
  • Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) qualification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar finance role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Based in the UAE with immediate availability preferred.
