Job Brief:
The General Manager – Sales will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales operations, and overseeing both the UAE and export markets for a leading manufacturing company in Sharjah, UAE, engaged in the production of electrical switchgear panel boards, control panels, and allied equipment. The role requires a result-oriented professional with a strong background in electrical engineering, extensive industry experience, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and oversee sales activities for electrical switchgear panel boards, control panels, and allied equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and budgets to achieve organizational goals.
  • Drive sales growth in both the UAE and international export markets.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen strong customer relationships within the electrical and industrial sectors.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to support strategic planning.
  • Ensure sales targets are consistently met through proactive planning and team management.
  • Support the development of new business channels, key accounts, and market segments.
  • Prepare and review sales forecasts, sales reports, and business performance analyses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and finance, to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Represent the company professionally during client meetings, technical discussions, trade exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Maintain a result-oriented professional approach in all sales interactions and decision-making.
Job Requirements:
  • Graduate in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 15–20 years of experience in sales within electrical switchgear, control panels, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the UAE and GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of switchgear panel boards, control panel systems, and allied electrical products.
  • Experience in both domestic (UAE) and export markets.
  • Result-oriented professional with strong sales planning, budgeting, and leadership capabilities.
  • Candidates currently working in similar industries in the Gulf region will be given preference.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead sales teams, manage KPIs, and drive business growth.
