Job Brief:

Our client is looking for ambitious, analytical, and high-potential Graduate Trainees to join its Operations Excellence team in the UAE. This program is designed to nurture future operational leaders by providing comprehensive exposure to manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, and commercial operations.

The selected candidates will work closely with senior operations leaders to gain a deep understanding of business processes, support productivity improvement initiatives, analyze operational performance, and contribute to continuous improvement projects across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Observe, analyze, and document operational workflows across manufacturing plants, warehouses, and logistics functions.
  • Evaluate material flow, resource utilization, and process efficiency.
  • Develop process maps and identify opportunities for operational optimization.
  • Assist in establishing and standardizing operating procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze productivity metrics, throughput, cycle times, and resource effectiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend practical solutions for process improvements.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in cost optimization and productivity enhancement projects.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze operational data from various business functions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational performance metrics.
  • Develop dashboards, trackers, and management reports.
  • Prepare presentations and business cases highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, and Commercial teams.
  • Participate in business transformation and process improvement projects.
  • Support digitalization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives across the organization.
  • Participate in a structured graduate development and mentoring program.
  • Undertake rotational assignments across different operational functions.
  • Build leadership capabilities through project ownership and business exposure.
  • Take on increasing responsibilities based on performance and business requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
  • Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of professional experience will be considered.
  • Prior internship or project experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, operations, or supply chain environments will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Process Mapping and Workflow Analysis.
  • Strong Data Analysis and Reporting skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills.
  • Knowledge of Operational Analytics.
  • Understanding of Productivity Improvement Methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices.
