Job Brief:
Our client is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities at a chemical manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring workplace safety, conducting risk assessments, supporting safety training, managing incident reporting, and ensuring compliance with applicable HSE standards and procedures.
The ideal candidate should have 3–6 years of experience as an HSE Officer or Safety Officer, preferably within a chemical manufacturing or industrial manufacturing plant, along with a recognised HSE certification.

Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor workplace safety and ensure compliance with applicable HSE regulations, standards, and company safety procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify potential workplace hazards, and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
- Support employee safety training and awareness programs to promote safe working practices.
- Assist in incident and accident investigations, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation, inspection records, incident reports, and compliance reports.
- Monitor safety equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency preparedness procedures to ensure workplace safety.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience as an HSE Officer or Safety Officer, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing plant.
- NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or an equivalent HSE certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Familiarity with chemical safety, PPE usage, risk assessments, and emergency procedures.
- Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills.
