Job Brief:
Our client in the oilfield equipment industry is looking for a qualified Instrumentation & Automation Engineer to support EPC projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves detailed engineering, site supervision, project coordination, and control system upgrades (DCS/ICSS/UCP). The candidate must have hands-on experience with flowmeters and automation systems, along with exposure to offshore/onshore projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Review and validate instrumentation and control (I&C) engineering documents prepared by consultants, vendors, and OEMs.
  • Supervise construction subcontractor teams for site construction and installation activities related to I&C scope.
  • Manage and coordinate detailed engineering, project execution, and upgradation of DCS/ICSS/UCP systems.
  • Lead instrumentation work related to ultrasonic and Coriolis flowmeter installation for Oil & Gas brownfield EPC projects.
  • Ensure compliance with EPC technical standards, safety procedures, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal EPC teams, clients, and vendors for project execution and site support.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project implementation.
  • Manage PTW / e-WMS systems where required for project execution.
  • Work both in EPC office and on offshore/onshore sites as per project demands.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electronics Engineering (Diploma holders with additional experience may be considered).
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and automation within EPC projects.
  • Essential: Experience in flowmeters (ultrasonic/Coriolis) and DCS/ICSS/UCP control system upgrades.
  • Offshore project experience in GCC or other regions preferred.
  • ADNOC project experience will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with PTW / e-WMS systems desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC project lifecycle, engineering documentation, and QA/QC practices.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related engineering software.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
