Job Brief:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Estimator to join our client in the joinery industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and competitive proposals. This role requires excellent analytical skills, knowledge of joinery materials and processes, and a strong understanding of the UAE market.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for joinery projects, including materials, labor, and overheads.
Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine the scope of work.
Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations for materials and services.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost breakdowns, and tender submissions.
Collaborate with project, design, and production teams to ensure the feasibility of estimates.
Monitor project budgets, costs, and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain updated knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and market pricing.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and client requirements.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of UAE experience in joinery estimation.
Strong knowledge of joinery materials, fabrication processes, and finishes.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
