Job Brief:The Joinery Manager will oversee all operational, technical, and commercial activities within the joinery division. This includes managing project executions, supervising production teams, overseeing material planning, handling client coordination, and ensuring high-quality joinery outputs. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in joinery management, estimation, production oversight, and project delivery within the UAE.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the full joinery department, including production, operations, planning, and project execution.
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and ensure accurate material take-offs and estimations.
- Prepare quotations, costings, and estimates for joinery works in alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project flow.
- Supervise factory operations to ensure quality standards, timelines, and project specifications are met.
- Lead and mentor production teams, carpenters, detailers, and site supervisors.
- Ensure efficient allocation of manpower, materials, and resources for joinery projects.
- Monitor progress, resolve operational issues, and provide technical guidance to factory and site teams.
- Implement quality control procedures and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Review and approve shop drawings, cutting lists, and production schedules.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure the timely availability of materials and optimise procurement costs.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect ongoing joinery works and ensure compliance with client expectations.
- Prepare project status reports, progress summaries, and attend project meetings when required.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
