Job Brief:The Key Account Manager – Wholesale is responsible for expanding distribution and driving volume through national and regional wholesalers, cash-and-carry groups, and food-service master distributors. This role focuses on ensuring pricing consistency, cost-efficient operations, and strong commercial partnerships across wholesale channels.
Job Responsibilities:- Wholesale RTM Strategy: Segment the wholesale market and prioritize the top 25 accounts based on volume potential and influence on General Trade (GT).
- Commercial Negotiation: Secure annual terms including rebates, volume incentives, and credit periods. Drive stock commitments in line with sales targets.
- Distributor Development: Monitor secondary sales, inventory health, and stock ageing. Lead monthly performance reviews and joint field visits.
- Trade Schemes: Develop trade promotions, bulk offers, and seasonal incentives to boost sell-out through wholesale into GT channels.
- Collections Management: Oversee receivables, enforce credit terms, and reduce overdue payments.
