Job Brief:The Key Account Manager is responsible for
managing Foodservice customer accounts to
achieve sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships. The role includes money collection, launching new products, monitoring competitor activities, adhering to company procedures, and
expanding product listings using technical support. The Key Account Manager tracks sales performance and reports on business development opportunities within assigned accounts.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage and service assigned Foodservice customer accounts directly.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales targets and monitor daily sales performance.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and follow-up on outstanding amounts.
- Introduce and launch new products in the market effectively.
- Identify and resolve out-of-stock or short-expiry product issues.
- Monitor competitor activities and report findings.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports with recommended actions.
- Maintain and update the customer database regularly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Utilize technical support to list additional products with key accounts.
- Accept payments from customers and ensure price adherence.
- Follow assigned route plans and track achievement.
- Manage tenders, including product details, quantities, and prices.
- Monitor customer credit status daily.
- Ensure on-time deliveries without customer complaints.
- Identify potential new customers for business expansion.
- Recommend new products to supervisors for distribution.
