Job Brief:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support laboratory operations within a cosmetics manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for assisting with product development activities, handling raw materials, preparing samples, maintaining laboratory records, and supporting quality and formulation processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the cosmetics industry, a good understanding of cosmetic raw materials and formulations, and the ability to support research, development, and testing activities. Job Responsibilities:

Assist in laboratory activities related to cosmetics product development and formulation.
Handle, prepare, and organize cosmetic raw materials for testing and development purposes.
Support formulation trials and sample preparation activities under the guidance of senior laboratory personnel.
Assist in maintaining laboratory records, test results, and product development documentation.
Monitor inventory levels of laboratory materials and report replenishment requirements.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of raw materials, samples, and laboratory equipment.
Support testing and evaluation of cosmetic formulations and finished products.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the laboratory.
Assist with product development procedures and formulation-related activities.
Follow laboratory protocols, company procedures, and quality standards at all times.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lab Assistant within the cosmetics industry.
Good knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, formulations, and product development procedures.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment, sample preparation, and testing processes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling formulations and documentation.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to follow laboratory procedures and quality standards.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
