Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to plan, coordinate, and execute land surveying activities for civil, structural, and infrastructure works, ensuring accurate setting-out, measurement, verification, and recording of project works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, coordinates, levels, and project requirements.

The role is responsible for maintaining survey accuracy and control throughout construction while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Actively follow and promote the Company Safety, Security, and Quality policies and ensure that fellow employees and visitors are doing the same.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise surveying and setting-out activities to ensure accurate execution of civil and structural works.
Establish, verify, and maintain survey control networks, control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference levels throughout project execution.
Review approved engineering drawings, layouts, coordinates, and specifications to determine survey requirements and identify discrepancies prior to construction.
Carry out topographic, setting-out, construction, verification, and as-built surveys as required by project activities.
Verify line, level, alignment, dimensions, coordinates, and locations of buildings, equipment foundations, structural foundations, cable trenches, underground services, roads, drainage systems, boundary works, and associated civil structures.
Coordinate survey requirements and interfaces with Project Engineers, Civil/Structural teams, Site Supervisors, QA/QC personnel, consultants, and subcontractors.
Verify completed works against approved drawings and coordinates and promptly report deviations, discrepancies, or site constraints requiring corrective action.
Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, field notes, calculations, coordinate data, inspection records, and as-built information.
Supervise and guide survey assistants, chainmen, and junior surveyors to ensure accuracy, productivity, and compliance with approved survey procedures.
Ensure survey instruments and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, safeguarded, and suitable for required accuracy levels.
Support quantity verification, progress measurement, inspection activities, and preparation of project handover/as-built documentation as required.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of land surveying experience in civil and infrastructure projects.
Minimum 5 years of UAE experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of civil, structural, and infrastructure surveying.
Knowledge of survey control networks, benchmarks, and coordinate systems.
Strong experience in setting-out and construction verification.
Experience surveying buildings, foundations, trenches, underground services, roads, and associated civil works.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and coordinates.
Experience with survey calculations, coordinate data, and as-built preparation.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey software.
Experience operating Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and levelling equipment.
Experience coordinating with engineering, construction, QA/QC, and consultant teams.
English language proficiency is mandatory.
Arabic or any other additional language would be advantageous.
