Job Brief:

We are hiring for a Maintenance Engineer job in RAK to support our client’s machinery maintenance and troubleshooting activities within a manufacturing environment.

The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and supporting production teams by ensuring machines such as Trumpf, Salvagnini, and CNC machines operate efficiently. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices within a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of production machinery, including equipment such as Trumpf, Salvagnini, and CNC machines.
Diagnose mechanical and operational issues in production machines and implement effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair work on machinery to ensure optimal performance and operational reliability.
Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues to prevent breakdowns and production delays.
Support production teams by ensuring that machines are operating safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks carried out on equipment.
Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards when working on machinery and production equipment.
Coordinate with internal teams when required to ensure timely resolution of equipment-related issues.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of production machinery.
Hands-on experience working with Trumpf, Salvagnini, and CNC machines.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial machinery maintenance.
Ability to diagnose faults and perform effective troubleshooting of production equipment.
Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices within manufacturing environments.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Willingness to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
