Job Brief:

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in the tissue paper manufacturing industry to support mechanical maintenance activities at its manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, interpreting engineering drawings and equipment manuals, planning preventive and corrective maintenance, and maintaining accurate equipment maintenance records.

The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of mechanical engineering experience in a tissue paper manufacturing plant and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns in tissue paper manufacturing equipment.
  • Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and equipment manuals to support maintenance activities.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Support corrective maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of mechanical equipment failures.
  • Maintain accurate technical records, maintenance reports, and equipment service history.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to support the smooth operation of tissue paper manufacturing equipment.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in the tissue paper manufacturing industry.
  • Previous hands-on experience in a tissue paper manufacturing plant is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and equipment manuals.
  • Experience planning preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ability to maintain technical records and equipment maintenance history.
  • Good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
