Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our client’s offshore project team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in EPC project planning and scheduling, with the ability to manage large-scale projects efficiently while ensuring the timely delivery of milestones.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project planning packages, including WBS, Milestones Completion Schedule, Critical Path Schedule, and EPC Implementation Schedule (Levels 1-5).
  • Prepare narrative reports, weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves, and manpower histograms.
  • Establish and monitor project progress reporting systems, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective execution of project plans.
  • Track project milestones, critical paths, and provide timely alerts for delays or deviations.
  • Support project control functions, including cost control, forecasting, and risk analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and client requirements (ADNOC or similar).
  • Contribute to planning-related documentation, audits, and project close-out reports.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in EPC project planning and execution.
  • Hands-on expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of project lifecycle, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control methodologies.
  • Experience in offshore projects in GCC or other regions (preferred).
  • Previous project exposure with ADNOC Group Companies (advantageous).
  • Proficient in MS Office and document control systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
