Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Officer with a strong background in the interior fit-out industry in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing procurement documentation, and ensuring the timely delivery of all project-related materials for high-end residential villas and commercial fit-out projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Source, evaluate, and procure materials, equipment, and services required for interior fit-out and construction projects.
  • Identify reliable suppliers, request quotations, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, LPOs, and procurement documents in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to understand material requirements and prioritize procurement activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites and monitor supplier performance to avoid delays or shortages.
  • Maintain updated records of materials, suppliers, pricing, delivery timelines, and procurement transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term business needs.
  • Follow up with vendors regarding pending orders and resolve any discrepancies or delivery issues.
  • Ensure all purchased items comply with project specifications, quality standards, and technical requirements.
  • Assist with cost analysis, market research, and preparation of procurement reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice verification, payment follow-ups, and documentation accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement procedures, ethical purchasing practices, and company guidelines.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an interior fit-out company in Dubai — mandatory.
  • Proven knowledge of material sourcing, supplier management, and procurement processes within the UAE construction and fit-out industry.
  • Strong understanding of materials commonly used in interior projects (joinery, finishes, MEP-related items, fixtures, and fit-out materials).
  • Good negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Ability to read and understand project drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work Monday–Saturday as per project requirements.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
