Job Brief:

A skilled and innovative Product Development Manager is required to lead the design, development, and enhancement of new insulation products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, coupled with a passion for developing new products and processes to meet market demands.

Job Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and develop new products from ideation to production, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
Develop detailed business case studies for new product initiatives.
Conduct market research to evaluate and select appropriate materials and additives to enhance product performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
Identify market sources and suppliers for raw materials and components.
Create prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate design concepts and ensure product reliability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless product development and launch processes.
Lead product certification and related testing processes, ensuring compliance with applicable industry regulations.
Develop and maintain product testing plans in line with industry standards.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all product development activities, including design specifications, test results, and user manuals.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in product development within the manufacturing sector
Experience in developing new products and processes
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Knowledge of product testing standards, methodologies, and fire classifications
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and business case analysis
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards in the manufacturing industry (preferred)
Prior involvement in the full product lifecycle, from concept to market launch (preferred)
