Job Responsibilities:
Development Planning & Market Activation:

Develop and maintain a high level of expert technical knowledge within focus market sectors and product groups to identify growth opportunities, in line with the company’s business and financial goals.
Build and maintain technical and commercial intelligence via competitive product analysis in target applications, to assess the competitive advantage of the company’s existing and new CASE formulations vs the market.
Define with the Business Unit Head the product development pipeline for the CASE category, in collaboration with the Sales and Production Teams.
Become a key contributor to commercial launches and rollouts of new products, in collaboration with the Sales Team.
Provide advice and support to customers, distribution partners, and other stakeholders (consultants, applicators, contractors) to promote our technology via recommendation, troubleshooting, and validation of products/ applications.
Participate in customer visits to demonstrate performance capabilities and commercial advantages of our products.

Product Development (R&D):

Lead R&D projects to deliver full formulation requirements for target CASE customers by ensuring technical performance and cost competitiveness, supporting the company’s business plan.
Lead customization efforts including regional/local formula adaptation of new products/applications.
Ensure CASE R&D projects are completed on schedule and within budget, including but not limited to managing tasks and resources efficiently, setting appropriate timelines, coordinating formula-related discussions, communicating test results internally and externally, and adhering to necessary regulatory requirements.
Plan workload effectively when dealing with multiple simultaneous and new business opportunities in an environment that requires a high degree of flexibility to react to rapidly changing priorities.
Oversee lab equipment usage and upkeep; conduct all lab work in a safe manner including the use of proper PPE and adherence to site safety practices.
Engage in patenting work to secure proprietary technology where applicable.

Team Upskilling and External Networking:

Maintain a high level of technical knowledge sharing internally, by providing onboarding for new joiners and regular training sessions.
Building and lead cooperation with external know-how partners (e.g., universities, research institutes, and industry partners) to identify opportunities to advance execution and commercialization of R&D projects.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in product development and technical support within the chemical industry.
Must be a UAE resident.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) preferred.
Proven track record of leading R&D projects and commercialization efforts.
Experience in ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements in product development and testing processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.
