Job Brief:
Our client in the FMCG manufacturing sector based in Ras Al Khaimah is looking to hire a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations. The role involves managing the production team, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, maximizing operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the food or beverage industry and a hands-on approach to team leadership, blending, and production optimization.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the production line while ensuring adherence to safety, GMP, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and monitor daily production schedules to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations such as ISO, HACCP, QMS, and 5S practices.
  • Monitor performance metrics including OEE and report daily variances in line with production targets.
  • Implement and revise SOPs to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity across all production stages.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and QA teams to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.
  • Train new employees on machinery, standard operating procedures, and safety practices.
  • Submit accurate daily production reports and maintain detailed production records and documentation.
  • Monitor team performance and discipline, ensuring alignment with company goals and productivity benchmarks.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by maintaining strong communication with team members and cross-functional departments.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or Food Science from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a food processing or FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • At least 4 years of proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Experience in the tea industry, particularly blending and analytical processing, is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, food safety standards, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of performance management and KPIs.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Age: 28 to 37 years.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Nationality: Indian or Filipino.
