Job Brief:The Project & Commissioning Engineer is responsible for executing installation, testing, commissioning, and project documentation for water and wastewater treatment systems. The role includes coordination with consultants, handling technical submissions, supervising site activities, and ensuring plant performance meets design requirements.
Job Responsibilities:- Execute commissioning and maintenance of all water and wastewater treatment plants, including Clarifiers, Filtration, Softeners, UV, UF, EDI, RO, DM plants, Aeration, MBBR, and MBR.
- Coordinate BOQ requirements with engineering teams for erection and commissioning.
- Manage client relationships and ensure expectations are met.
- Analyze water parameters and generate related technical reports.
- Execute projects related to water/wastewater/STP/TSE polishing systems.
- Install equipment based on P&IDs, piping layouts, and isometric drawings.
- Raise RFIs and coordinate with consultants for inspection and approvals.
- Coordinate with clients for installation readiness.
- Optimize plant performance during commissioning.
- Diagnose process-related issues and provide technical recommendations.
- Develop method statements, checklists, and TRA for installation and commissioning.
- Prepare monthly O&M, AMC, production, chemical consumption, and water analysis reports.
- Conduct site surveys and submit as-built reports to support bidding.
- Apply and close work permits as required.
- Liaise with sales teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support the development of process engineering and monitoring activities.
- Prepare performance monitoring reports and evaluation logs.
- Troubleshoot operational issues across cooling, boiler, chilled water, process water, wastewater, domestic water, and swimming pool water systems.
- Supervise flushing activity and related works.
- Identify upselling/service opportunities with clients.
- Commission and troubleshoot controllers and dosing systems.
- Program and integrate controllers into BMS/SCADA systems.
- Calibrate PTSA, fluorometers, online correlators, turbidity, ORP, and other advanced sensors.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers for technical troubleshooting.
- Follow safety directives and ensure compliance with all site safety rules.
