Job Brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects in Dubai. The role requires strong expertise in project costing, estimating, scheduling, risk assessments, and installation planning. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, applications, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery that meets client expectations, safety standards, and budget requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the sales and applications team when bidding for projects.
• Control multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attend client meetings to ensure the installation, coordination, and planning of the work are in line with the client’s expectations.
• Develop and determine priorities and monitor the status of special projects on an ongoing basis.
• Act as liaison between customers and other departments.
• Maintain scheduling and cost requirements.
• Prepare status reports to update and inform others of all project activities.
• Prepare the project summary report upon completion of the project.
• Assist in resolving receivables issues.
• Completion of project execution documents for all assigned projects.
• Procurement Support Function by sourcing & analysing quotations.
• Create Purchase Orders.
• Create Delivery Notes and Collect PODs.
• Review Vendors' Invoices and ensure they are correct.
• Create Packing Lists.
• Prepare cost estimates, manufacturing and installation schedules, method statements, risk assessments, lifting plans, and work packs in a timely manner for project execution.
• Ensure that site safety procedures and environmental codes of practice are enforced throughout installation activities.
• Create and manage invoices and related documentation.
• Supervise onsite activities for gas turbine auxiliary equipment erection and modifications.
• Assess labor and equipment requirements for each project and prepare price analyses.
• Provide technical instructions to field service representatives on the installation, operation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
• Lead, support, and manage subcontracted labor to ensure timely project execution while adhering to all site safety procedures.
• Monitor health and safety documentation and conduct safety inspections.
