Job Brief:We are looking for an experienced
Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project delivery within a regulated financial services environment. The role is responsible for ensuring projects align with regulatory requirements, operational objectives, and financial goals. The Project Manager will work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulators to deliver technology-driven and compliance-focused initiatives efficiently and on time.
Job Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:- Lead the complete project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define clear project objectives, scope, timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, PMP methodologies, and effective tracking using JIRA.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with approved standards.
Stakeholder Management:- Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, vendors, and regulators.
- Gather requirements, provide structured progress updates, and address risks or changes transparently.
- Facilitate informed decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.
Regulatory and Compliance Management:- Ensure all projects comply with applicable regulations and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams to secure required approvals.
- Embed compliance checkpoints into project plans and adapt projects to evolving regulatory requirements.
Resource and Budget Management:- Plan, allocate, and optimize internal resources and external contractors.
- Prepare detailed project budgets and monitor financial performance.
- Control costs and ensure efficient utilization of resources to meet project and organizational objectives.
Technology Implementation and Upgrades:- Lead implementation and enhancement of brokerage technology platforms, including trading systems, CRM, and backend infrastructure.
- Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless system integration, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Risk Management:- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, regulatory, and reputational risks.
- Maintain risk registers, implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Evaluate the impact of market volatility or regulatory changes on project outcomes.
Client Relationship Management:- Ensure project deliverables align with client expectations and business requirements.
- Maintain continuous communication and feedback loops.
- Resolve issues promptly and ensure service delivery standards are met or exceeded.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:- Define project KPIs and success metrics.
- Monitor progress using JIRA dashboards and reports.
- Provide regular performance updates, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery:- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure critical projects and systems have tested recovery strategies to minimize operational disruption.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:- Maintain high-quality standards across project deliverables.
- Implement quality control processes and conduct post-implementation reviews.
- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve project methodologies and delivery effectiveness.
