Job Brief:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic D2C Platform Project Manager to join its MENA team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting D2C e-commerce strategy and overall growth by driving innovative platform enhancements, optimizing delivery processes, and ensuring platform stability in line with global standards.

The D2C Platform Project Manager will lead the implementation of technical products and set standards for the rollout of new features, acting as a liaison between the regional D2C team, global development teams, subsidiaries, and the corporate head office. Additionally, the role will support the Head of Platform in managing internal stakeholder expectations for project deliverables and help implement an effective system of project governance.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of new country launches and channel expansion initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and regional strategies.
Define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Monitor project performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize customer experiences.
Act as a liaison between the regional D2C team, regional development teams, and global platform teams to facilitate seamless collaboration and communication.
Maintain high-quality project documentation and build a regional knowledge repository to support continuous learning and improvement.
Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and build related operational processes to bridge gaps between stakeholders and development teams.
Respond to ad-hoc requests from the Corporate Office and ensure effective communication with local stakeholders to address challenges promptly.
Effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
Conduct continuous regional e-commerce sellout platform trend reviews and assess their applicability to eStores, driving data-driven decision-making.
Ensure a consistent weekly planning and reporting cycle, including clear reporting of progress toward vision and goals, deliverables, features, issues, risks, and resource allocation across engagements.
Participate in technical planning and requirements-gathering phases, including design, code, and testing, to ensure successful project execution.
Support the D2C Platform Head in managing internal stakeholder expectations for project deliverables and help implement an effective system of project governance.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and proactively address any challenges.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements for D2C operations.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a relevant field.
5–7 years of experience in e-commerce.
PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, AgilePM, ACP, or Lean Six Sigma qualifications are advantageous.
Strong understanding of end-to-end e-commerce operations, including online, offline, and omnichannel operations, retail strategies, and e-commerce trends.
Proven experience in managing end-to-end e-commerce projects, including website development, feature implementation, and platform optimization.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across regions.
Strong understanding of market dynamics and technology.
Fluency in English is required; Korean, French, or Turkish language skills are an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and forward planning, with the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a hands-on approach.
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, including Hybris, AEM, Magento, Shopify, and Salesforce, and related ecosystems, including ERP, WMS, CMS, payment gateways, CRM tools, and analytics platforms.
Well-versed in software delivery tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence, and similar tools.
Experience working in an Agile environment and building and leading geographically distributed agencies.
Exceptional organizational, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated, flexible, reliable, and able to multitask and deliver on time.
Quick-thinking and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial work environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and opportunities, evaluate options, and provide clear recommendations and strategic plans for business growth.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working with development teams, including business analysts, developers, QA professionals, and architects.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
