Job Brief:

Our client is hiring for an R&D Assistant Manager job in Sharjah within the Personal Care (Cosmetics) division. The successful candidate will support research and development activities, including cosmetic formulation, product development, analytical testing, regulatory compliance, project management, and cost control. The role will also involve working closely with internal teams to support the development, testing, and continuous improvement of cosmetic products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the research and development of personal care and cosmetic products, including new product formulations and improvements to existing formulations.
  • Develop and evaluate cosmetic formulations based on product requirements, ingredient functionality, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct and coordinate analytical testing to evaluate product quality, stability, performance, and formulation suitability.
  • Research and evaluate cosmetic ingredients, raw materials, and formulation alternatives for new and existing products.
  • Support R&D projects from formulation and testing through product development and implementation.
  • Ensure formulations and product development activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal teams on product development, testing, documentation, and project requirements.
  • Support project planning, cost control, and timely completion of R&D activities.
  • Troubleshoot formulation and product development issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain accurate R&D records, formulation details, test results, and relevant technical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to support R&D and business objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • 4–5 years of R&D experience in the Personal Care (Cosmetics) industry.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
  • Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation, ingredients, analytical testing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong project management and cost control skills.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Immediate joiners will be preferred.
