Job Brief:We are seeking a highly experienced Department Head – Retail Sales to lead and drive sales performance across modern trade channels. The role involves managing key retailer relationships, achieving revenue and profitability targets, and building a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will bring strong FMCG expertise, extensive modern trade exposure in the UAE, and proven success in managing large-scale key accounts.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, Gross Profit (GP), and Net Profit (NP) targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with leading retailers such as LULU, Carrefour, Union Co-Op, and others.
- Lead contract negotiations, trade agreements, and annual business development plans with key accounts.
- Monitor sales performance, competitor activities, and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure successful execution of promotions and product availability.
- Drive product listings, visibility agreements, and in-store activations to maximize brand exposure.
- Manage trade marketing budgets efficiently and ensure strong return on investment (ROI).
- Take full ownership of sales profitability, ensuring consistent achievement of GP and NP targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop the retail sales team to deliver sustainable growth.
