Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer for Steel and Fencing in Sharjah will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and markets for fabrication services, specifically in steel and fencing. This role demands a minimum of 5 years of UAE-based metal/steel fabrication sales experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, and proficiency in sales and business development within the fabrication industry. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong network within Main Contractors and Engineering Consultants, and a valid UAE driving license.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities and markets for steel and fencing fabrication services.
• Understand customer needs, provide appropriate solutions, and follow up on inquiries and concerns.
• Prospect, develop, and visit new and existing customers to promote services.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and technical support.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and capabilities.
• Prepare estimates, material take-offs, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate on project quotations.
• Work closely with the management and production team to accurately prepare project proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of metal/steel fabrication sales experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of Main Contractors and Engineering Consultants, preferably having worked in a sub-contractor firm.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
