Job Brief:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to join our team in Dubai. The role involves driving direct sales, managing customer accounts, and building long-term client relationships. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating new opportunities, developing value propositions, coordinating with design consultants, and ensuring business growth while maintaining strong margins.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Achieve assigned sales targets (bookings and billings).
  • Prospect and generate new customer accounts while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Work closely with design consultants to support specification activities.
  • Arrange and attend client meetings regularly, presenting solutions and company offerings.
  • Monitor and report market trends, competitor activities, and business pipeline projections.
  • Maintain a healthy and credible pipeline to support expected business growth.
  • Provide techno-commercial assistance and proposals to prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely proposals.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
  • Manage a healthy product sales mix while maintaining profitability.
  • Convert competitor accounts into company accounts.
  • Register, track, and update leads and opportunities in CRM/Zoho.
  • Submit required sales inputs, reports, and projections in the prescribed format on time.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with partners, clients, and key accounts.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager to support business needs.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–6 years of experience in direct sales within HVAC, gas turbine, or air filtration products.
  • Proven track record of acquiring and maintaining customer accounts.
  • Driving License is mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems (Zoho experience is a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple commercial opportunities and tasks efficiently.
  • Strong capability in qualifying RFQs, understanding customer buying motives, funding processes, and decision-making hierarchies.
  • Experience in developing compelling value propositions to win new business.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
Preferred Knowledge:
  • Technical and operational understanding of gas turbine and engine filtration systems.
  • General knowledge of GT, compressor, and engine filtration systems.
  • Sound knowledge of costing and pricing principles for products and services.
