Job Brief:The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling water and wastewater treatment solutions, including HVAC water treatment systems, to customers across commercial, industrial, and government sectors. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, preparing proposals and submittals, and coordinating with internal engineering teams for seamless project execution. This position requires technical knowledge in water treatment processes and strong sales abilities to achieve revenue targets.
Job Responsibilities:- Work closely with customers to introduce and sell water and wastewater treatment solutions, including HVAC treatment systems, across commercial, industrial, and government sectors.
- Generate new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, relationship building, and cold calling.
- Develop and implement sales strategies through a robust sales plan that aligns with company goals for sales, revenue, profitability, and growth.
- Nurture and grow key customer relationships within targeted customer segments.
- Provide accurate monthly sales and revenue forecasts, as well as market and competitor analysis reports, to the Sales Manager.
- Negotiate and finalize commercial terms and contracts.
- Maintain timely and professional communication with customers at all stages of the sales cycle.
- Review customer enquiries and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Prepare technical submittals in line with project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Engineering team to ensure smooth handover of confirmed orders.
- Prepare and deliver high-level presentations to customers and prospective clients.
- Be willing to take on any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
