Job Brief:The
Sales Engineer – Water Treatment Components will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives within the Water Treatment Components Division. The role requires strong technical knowledge, sales ownership, and accountability across forecasting, planning, collections, and market development activities. The position involves extensive fieldwork and coordination across internal divisions to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
Job Responsibilities:- Take full ownership and accountability for all day-to-day sales activities and outcomes within the assigned territory.
- Secure more than 80% of sales from core business products through effective product offering diversification.
- Prepare and submit a sales plan aimed at strengthening and expanding business with existing and new clients.
- Develop and submit a 3-year business plan, updated twice yearly and submitted by the end of Q2 and Q4.
- Prepare and submit sales forecast reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Submit trip reports for each business-related visit conducted within or outside the assigned territory.
- Invest maximum effort and resources to achieve the division’s daily, monthly, and yearly sales targets.
- Divert and share sales leads with other team members or divisions in line with internal policies.
- Proactively lead and participate in market surveys to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive insights.
- Take full responsibility for due payments, receivables, collections, and money transactions in accordance with company requirements.
- Shoulder responsibility for achieving assigned quarterly individual KPIs.
- Actively contribute to the development of yearly, quarterly, and monthly sales budgets.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 quality, environmental, and safety management systems.
- Demonstrate readiness to support or fill in for sales-related assignments within the assigned or other territories when required.
- Conduct regular field visits and demonstrate full readiness to meet clients and prospects across Abu Dhabi and other locations as required.
- Maintain continuous focus on meeting or exceeding all assigned sales targets.
